CMS Yearbook

 

Students, this is the last week to purchase your yearbook before prices go up!  Yearbook price without ASB is $50.00 and with ASB is $45.00.  The price will go up an additional $5.00 in February.

 

OHHS Class of 2018

 

Attention Future Bulldogs: OHHS will be on campus during the week of March 31st - April 4th to register all incoming freshmen. In addition, OHHS will be holding a parent night on April 1st at 6:00pm for the class of 2018. During this event parents and students will get an opportunity to meet staff members, teachers, counselors, and administrators. OHHS staff members will be discussing the freshmen curriculum, school wide expectations, reviewing the registration process, and outlining upcoming events.  End of the Year Activities

 

Do you want to be a part of the end of the year activities?  All 8th grade students will have the opportunity to attend Knottā€™s Berry Farm, the 8th grade dance, yearbook signing party, and field day!  All 7th grade students will have the opportunity to attend Field Day.  It is VERY important to make sure that you remain eligible to attend these fun outings.  Any student who is sent home by administration on a home suspension or is assigned 2 or more full days of office assigned in school suspension (ALC) will not have the opportunity to attend these fun activities.  If you have any questions please feel free to talk to Mrs. Maxwell, Mr. Cusino, or Mr. Alba.

 

 Tutoring

 

Great News Spartans! Tutoring will be offered every Tuesday and Thursday before school from 7:50am to 8:25am and after school from 3:30pm until 4:15pm. Please see Mrs. Alfieri if you have any questions.

 

ASB

 

As of March 1, 2014 we will no longer be accepting checks.

If you need to purchase something from the school after March 1st you will need to pay cash.

Open GYM

 

Open Gym Basketball is held every Wednesday from 7:00 to 9:00am.  The entrance fee is $1.00 and it is open to both boys and girls. Open Gym Soccer is now being offered every Friday.  The entrance fee is $.50 and will be open to both boys and girls from7:00 to 8am.  Make sure you have proper gym attire for all open gym sessions.  See Coach Angel for more information on Open gym.

 

Victor Valley Track Club

 

If you are interested in joining the Victor Valley Track Club, practices are held Tuesdays and Thursdays at Oak Hills High School from 3:30-4:30PM weekly with Coach Upham.

  

CMS Hats

 

Attention Spartans: CMS students are only allowed to wear CMS hats at school. The following hat will be sold in our student store for $20. 

 

Athletics

 

Students that would like to participate in Spartan Athletics will need to complete an Activity Card. Activity Cards are available in the front office.

 

The following sports are available to all Cedar Spartans: Cross Country (boys and girls), Wrestling (boys and girls), Volleyball (girls), Basketball (boys and girls), Track and Field (boys and girls) and Soccer (boys and girls).

 

P.E. Uniforms

 

P.E. uniforms are currently available for purchase at the Student Store.  Shirt and shorts are $20 for the set or $10 for each individual piece.  Sweat suits are $25 for the set or $15 for each individual piece.  Cash only. (All items are in adult sizes.)
